Made in São Paulo, Brazil. September 27, 1994.

Logical and systematic but also with a creative side, comfortable with numbers, good with people, and I can code. I come from an engineering background at one of the best universities in the world. I embrace automation and well tested, efficient processes and I do well in scrappy entreprenuerial settings..

I think the most accurate description of myself is a Renaissance man. People are often surprised at my strength in a particular area be it academics, athletics, or even the more creative and artistic spaces. I can code like a nerd, sell like a sales bro, crack jokes, lead teams, and even tear it up on a soccer field.

For me, business success has always been about passion and doing what I enjoy. When I find something I enjoy and am passionate about, I know I will do well. While I have not yet found my calling in life, I am pretty certain it will be in the area of deal making, social impact/charity, and/or technology.

Apart from the unique spin of having someone who understands technology, how it is built, and how to build it, I also bring somewhat of a clean slate. And clean slates are great because I’m not married to a particular business idea, meaning I’m likely to do some things differently… which may end up being a win for the company.

Teamwork and competition is in my DNA - I have an identical twin brother, was raised by a competitive father, and played competitive soccer my entire life. The competitive nature in me has been a big help in my life especially with overcoming adversity. Also, growing up with 2 brothers and having gone to public schools my entire childhood, I have the ability to get along with just about anyone… something that I consider to be one of my greatest strengths.
